RELEASE NOTE

The day’s work is done. Whether you’re reclined on the deck, gathered around the table, or pitched up on a rugged ridge, Sundown is your well-earned, easy-drinking dram - perfect for enjoying as the day winds down.

‘Sundown’ is the next adventure in the Expedition Series of releases; a journey of discovery through the finest casks in our warehouse.

Positive Impact. £1 from every bottle sold is donated to our charity partner, Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust, to fund life-changing apprenticeships for young people in rural areas, to help protect vital UK habitats (YDMT Registered Charity No. 1061687).

DISTILLER’S COMMENTS

“Sundown is a celebration of American oak. Matured predominantly in first-fill bourbon casks, it opens with inviting aromas of biscuity banoffee pie and toasted nuts. On the palate, chewy vanilla and mint chocolate are carried on a backbone of malt and toasted oak - thanks in part to the small 100 litre casks used for maturation. The finish is sublime, with dried fruit and lingering, warming spice.” - Abbie Jaume, Head Distiller
